Menemsha Thompson

I am passionate about helping people build secure and loving partnerships, friendships, and communities. I work with people young and old who struggle with a range of issues that impact their relationships in all areas of life. Common themes in my practice include low self-esteem, anxiety, developmental trauma, and chronic stress from to sexism, racism, ableism and LGBTQIA2S+ discrimination. I enjoy helping queer people (and everyone) with pregnancy planning and I have ample experience working with folks in alternative relationship structures, such as polyamory. I am receiving training in psychoanalysis at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and I have basic training in EMDR. My style is warm and relational and I appreciate the therapeutic value of humor. Reach out to learn more!
