Jesse Berkowitz

Psychotherapist
Queer/LGBTQIA+/Poly/Trauma/Migrants
LMSW

Jesse Berkowitz (he/him) approaches clients first and foremost with compassion, warmth, and an open-mind. By laying the groundwork for a supportive and vulnerable relationship between therapist and client, Jesse’s clinical work centers attachment-focused and trauma-informed practices. Jesse’s work with queer folks from all walks of life is partly informed by his own identity as a queer man, and mostly by bringing curiosity and compassion when it comes to learning about – and supporting – folks from across the diverse queer spectrum. Jesse strives to hold space for those who have experienced trauma or pain related to their sexual and gender identities, and works to help queer folks find resilience, authenticity, healing, and self-love in themselves and in their lives. In-network with Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).
