Vince Samson is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He holds a bachelor degree in psychology from UC Berkeley, and earned his bachelor and master degrees in nursing from Columbia University. He received his clinical training through various New York City-based community health centers. Vince has extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
Vince has a collaborative approach to medication management, which focuses on providing psychoeducation and medication education to empower individuals to make informed decision about their care. His medication philosophy is to treat symptoms using the lowest effective dose and to avoid unnecessary/excessive use of potentially addictive controlled substances whenever possible.
