Dominique Kalata

Much of my life has been spent being part of different non-normative communities in NYC + SF. Born and raised in the East Village, downtown living infuses my way of being in the world. I am a bilingual speaker and child of immigrants, and my style is very down to earth, direct and friendly. I have spent most of my life as an outlier and a passionate advocate for change, and will show up as an ally and advocate in your life as well.

I practice a holistic approach to psychotherapy and coaching. We will collaborate to find the unique life management techniques that work best for how you're wired, that feels authentic and easy to implement given your unique identities. I align myself heavily with queer & feminist theory, while juxtaposing my interventions with empirically supported approaches.
