Carlette believes in a collaborative therapeutic relationship using a holistic approach to co-create space and explore how feelings, experiences, and systems of oppression manifest in the body. For over a decade she has experience working with Queer and Trans adolescents and adults in recovery and with co-occurring disorders including eating disorders, alcoholism, and substance abuse. Carlette has experience working with folks who live with depression, anxiety, and first generation BIPOC navigating their sexuality and gender identity as well as working with social workers of color navigating boundaries in their relationships. She strives to engage with anti-oppressive social work practices with a racial justice and gender equity lens as well as a Narrative Therapy approach and a spiritual lens.
