Carlette believes in a collaborative therapeutic relationship using a holistic approach to co-create space and explore how feelings, experiences, and systems of oppression manifest in the body. For over a decade she has experience working with Queer and Trans adolescents and adults in recovery and with co-occurring disorders including eating disorders, alcoholism, and substance abuse. She has experience working with folks who live with depression, anxiety, and first-generation BIPOC navigating their sexuality and gender identity, as well as working with social workers of color navigating boundaries in their relationships. She strives to engage with anti-oppressive social work practices with a racial justice and gender equity lens as well as a Narrative Therapy approach and a spiritual
