Carlette believes in a collaborative therapeutic relationship grounded in a holistic approach. She works with clients to explore how emotions, lived experiences, and systems of oppression manifest in the body. With over a decade of experience, she has supported Queer and Trans adolescents and adults navigating recovery, co-occurring disorders, eating disorders, alcoholism, and substance use. Carlette also works with social workers of color navigating boundaries and relationships, as well as first-generation BIPOC clients exploring sexuality and gender identity. Her practice is rooted in anti-oppressive social work and informed by racial justice and gender equity frameworks. She integrates Narrative Therapy and a spiritual lens to support healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
