I am a South Asian therapist who has worked with immigrants, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ individuals on issues of trauma, sexual abuse, violence, and persecution due to sexual orientation, religion, gender, and ethnicity. I work through a relational and psychodynamic lens, and I believe that healing can happen as we experience emotional safety and compassion in relationship with others. As a queer child of immigrants, I understand how shame and guilt can make us push down our unresolved emotions. We will work to deconstruct those feelings of shame and guilt that hold you back from feeling liberated.
