Tristan Bennett

I am a trans-identified therapist who draws on a diverse range of training and lived experience to help those seeking support in an insane world. Coming of age as an activist in the queer punk scene of post-Katrina New Orleans, I rely on anti-capitalist and anti-oppressive values in my work. Therapy, in my view, is a collaborative endeavor. I work with clients in a way that values non-hierarchy to develop inner strengths old and new. My work is trauma-informed, both by training and my own journey. I am fascinated by the interior landscapes described by psychodynamic theory, the eloquence of Internal Family Systems parts work, and the healing power of psychedelics. I welcome all expressions of consensual relatedness and especially empathize with those navigating queerness in America today.
