Sherry Chowdhury

Hi! My name is Sherry (she/they), and it's lovely to virtually meet you! I am a born and raised New Yorker from Queens, and the child of Indian immigrants. The convergence of my lived experiences resulted in the blossoming of my passion for supporting marginalized folks as we navigate our way through a world that is not built for us, and doing so with a curious, compassionate, gentle approach.

My interests lie in working with queer and trans BIPOC who are looking to explore the ways that intersectional identities shape their lives, and with folks who want to move beyond mainstream, Western narratives of mental health and well-being. I work through anti-carceral, abolitionist, and anarchist lenses which inform my personal life, values, and the work I do with my clients.
