Saman Kamgar-Parsi

Psychotherapist
LGBTQ+/Poly/Trauma
LCSW

Saman Kamgar-Parsi holds an MSW from Columbia School of Social Work and provides psychodynamic therapy to individuals and couples. She is interested in how people connect with one another, especially when feeling stressed or “stuck,” as well as what happens when we move beyond binary thinking towards more nuanced perspectives. Saman works with adults and adolescents, with a particular interest in supporting queer people, people of color, and those who have experienced trauma. She believes therapeutic relationships can be powerful sites of co-creation that make healing possible, and strives to create an anti-oppressive, non-judgmental space to allow for that healing.

In-Person Covid Protocols/Protections: High quality masks/respirators required for in-person sessions.
