Sam Giedris

I offer a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental space for clients. As a queer person myself, I have a passion for working with queer, trans, and gender-nonconforming clients. I know how important a good therapeutic experience is, as my own positive experiences in therapy inspired me to become a counselor.

I have an integrative approach that relies heavily on psychodynamic and multicultural theories. Through this framework, I look at the client’s past experiences and how these experiences impact the client in the “here and now,” while paying attention to cultural and systemic factors. I also collaborate with each client to integrate the approaches and techniques that work best for them.
