LGBTQ+/Traumatic Grief/EMDR

I specialize in working with adults struggling with anxiety, the loss of a loved one to suicide or sudden death, self-esteem, grief, trauma, and/or LGBTQ+-specific issues. I have been working in the mental health field since 2016, leading community-based mental health teams, consulting, and working in private practice. I identify as an Iranian-American/white, bisexual, and cisgender woman and strive to practice through an anti-racist, feminist, and anti-oppressive lens. I am a trained EMDR therapist and integrate mindfulness, CBT, psychodynamic theory, and self-compassion practices into my work. Together we will use these tools to help you move through pain with compassion and strengthen your capacity to bounce back from it more quickly.
