Sakina A. Shakur is a Shamanic Practitioner who works to reconnect us to our prosperous ancestors and the earth—so we can build joyous and just futures of tomorrow. Sakina blends pan-African, Hawaiian, and Indigenous North American shamanism with Traditional Chinese Medicine and abundant global wisdom traditions. She developed her healing practice by restoring her body after severe illness and trauma, conducting 15 years of global research on humanity’s relationship to nature, and earning an MA from Yale Divinity School. She offers virtual and in-person sessions 3 minutes from Union Square.
