Roxanna Alvarado

Senior Psychotherapist

LMHC

I am a BIPOC and queer clinician who practices from a de-colonial, trauma-informed lens. I am kink-affirming, gender-affirming, and committed to creating a supportive space. My work centers neurodivergence, mood disorders, and the lasting impact of trauma on identity, relationships, and self-trust. Together, we explore how past and present systems of trauma continue to shape your patterns, beliefs, and sense of stability/connection. My goal is to support you in dismantling outdated, maladaptive narratives and cultivating the version of yourself that feels most true and alive. Healing requires participation. It requires choosing yourself, even when it feels uncomfortable.

If you are ready to take ownership of your healing and move toward meaningful change, this is a space to do that work.

I am in-network with Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, CDPHP, Cigna | Evernorth, Empire BCBS, GEHA, Horizon BCBS, MagnaCare, Meritain Health, MVP, NYSHIP | NY State Empire Plan, Optum, UMR, UHC | UBH, and Wellfleet.
