I specialize in queer, interracial and non-monogamous couples and aim to foster deeper connection through building self-awareness, communication skills and intentionality. There are subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) ways we may tend to sabotage our relationships. These behaviors are often unconscious, and can sneakily serve to “protect” us from intimacy.
As counter-intuitive as this may sound, true closeness is very vulnerable, and we do not always feel comfortable with this. This can be the case for folks who really crave closeness just as much as those who are more aware of the tendency to push it away.
As a relationship therapist, I aim to help you tune into how you’re truly feeling, while centering radical self-compassion.
