Rebecca Ross, LCSW is a psychotherapist in private practice, an adjunct faculty member of the Ackerman Institute for the Family and Clinical Associate of the Gender & Family Project in New York City. She has presented nationally on providing affirmative clinical services for families of gender nonconforming and transgender children and adolescents. She is a graduate of the Ackerman Institute for the Family, the Institute for Dialogic Practice and Smith College School for Social Work. Rebecca has a history working in community mental health in the New York City area. In addition to her training in family & couples therapy, she has a broad range of expertise working with people struggling with depression, mood instability, psychosis, grief, loss, trauma and issues pertaining to gender and sexuality. She also has an interest in working with people in blended families and alternative couple or family structures.
