Rachel Kurland

Psychotherapist

LMSW

I view therapy as a collaborative process, and from the beginning of our time together we’ll work in tandem to co-construct goals, explore challenges, tap into your intuition and deepest self-knowledge, and embrace self-compassion to uncover your strengths and reconnect with your most authentic self. My background in both performing arts and social justice initiatives informs how I connect with clients, bringing forth elements of self-awareness, authenticity, vulnerability, creativity, and humor into each session. I practice from an anti-oppressive, liberation-based, trauma-informed framework and seek to honor each person’s different lived experience by cultivating an environment of empathy, non-judgement, and compassionate curiosity.
