Rachel Harlich

As a queer trauma therapist, I believe strongly in the ability of our communities to use our resilience, strength, and vulnerability to heal and build self-determined, full, beautiful lives. I am honored that I get to walk alongside my clients in their journeys. I approach therapy from a holistic lens, utilizing emotion-focused, body-based, mindfulness-informed modalities as well as more traditional therapies like psychodynamic and CBT. I specialize in working with issues of complex and adulthood trauma, sexual violence and IPV, LGBTQ+ affirming care, substance use, polyamory/non-monogamy, kink/BDSM, and sex work. I also believe that forms of oppression such as racism, sexism, heterosexism, cissexism, and whorephobia operate as traumas and stressors and thus, barriers to wellness.
