Hello. My name is Oxana Turgiss. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I graduated from New York University with my Masters of Social Work degree. I work with clients of all ages and from many different backgrounds. I have experience working with clients on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, in poly/ENM relationships, in the kink/BDSM community, and who are sex workers. I focus on themes of empowerment, consent, and reducing stigma and shame over sex.
I use psychodynamic therapy, expressive arts therapy, somatic work, narrative therapy, and cognitive processing therapy. I can teach coping skills, as well, in addition to increasing self-confidence and self-esteem. I specialize in treating symptoms of trauma and grief.
