I am a Guyanese-born Indo-Caribbean therapist who offers a gentle and affirming space where those I work with can feel seen and wholly supported on their healing journey. I have extensive experience supporting people of all ages, including survivors of DV/IPV, sexual abuse and trauma, immigrants, LGBTQ+ identifying folks, neurodivergent individuals, people of Indo-Caribbean/Indian Indenture and South Asian descent, and BIPOC communities. My approach is client-led, trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative and I use culturally congruent and anti-oppressive practices that integrate the natural mind-body healing processes with the individual’s innate skills and inner wisdom to help them meet their unique needs, navigate life stressors and challenges, and find healing within themselves.
