Therapy with me uses CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) as a springboard for the work we will be doing together. CBT is collaborative and reflective. The goal is to change how one perceives themselves, their environment, and the future. Other modalities include motivational interviewing, brief solution-focused, and mindfulness. Our purpose is to assist clients in learning- learning about themselves and how learning occurs with neuropsychological assessments. Learning is absolutely essential in order for individuals to evolve and make necessary changes that ultimately lead to a rich and full life. We provide gender-affirming therapy and advocate on your behalf.
