Meredith (She/her) is a queer-identified clinician originally from Utah and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in Modern Dance at the University of Utah. She is currently attending Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work, pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health. Her professional experience has been working primarily with queer annd gender-diverse adults experiencing substance use disorders, grief and loss, anxiety, trauma, and depression.
She has an eclectic approach to therapy, primarily drawing upon psychodynamic approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic approaches, and Systems Theory.
Meredith is in-network with Aetna, Oxford, and United Healthcare, and accepts most out-of-network insurance benefits once clients have reached their yearly deductibles.
