In my virtual practice, I hold supportive and non-judgmental space for healing, growth, and self-discovery for those with intersecting marginalized identities. As a first-generation American woman of Indian descent, I understand mental health as inseparable from the societal, political, historical, and cultural systems in which we all live. My therapy style is incorporates techniques from several therapeutic frameworks, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and multicultural, liberation-based, and feminist therapy. We are both active participants in the therapy relationship, collaborating to meet your goals through validation, exploration, and empathetic challenging.
