Quinntarah “Max” Maxwell is a licensed mental health counselor from Brooklyn, NY. Max believes that trauma is not an isolated experience, but is felt by the community. She is dedicated to collective engagement, the inner healer, sex positivity, the Black LGBTQIA+ community, and liberation. Max has a vast array of experience and knowledge and intuitively draws on these during sessions to co-create a healing-centered space. Max has used these skills with youth in juvenile detention, families, and those with substance abuse addiction. She is passionate about making mental health services accessible to marginalized communities and works fervently to break down barriers.
