I’m modest but confident. Optimistic but grounded. And not afraid to swear. Or feel deeply. I’m aware of my limits, but willing to take risks, drawn by the instinct to grow. I see art as public dreams and dreams as private myths. I go by Casper, because the name feels right to me. And as a gay kid who grew up in the late 80s, I was influenced by fantastic music and acid washed jeans. I’ve written a series of books for kids and a trilogy of books for teens, traveled the states in a van named Julius and played villains and nerds on TV. I forgive easily and have a deep pool of empathy. And I’m well practiced at setting boundaries while speaking with compassionate honesty. I have been a Psychotherapist for over 20 years, my work informed by Psychoanalytic, Jungian, and Humanistic Psychology.
