A steadfast believer in the power of the therapeutic relationship, Maddox strives to collaborate with clients to build trust, insight, and a space that feels supportive and affirming. Maddox has a background working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, and life transitions, and has also worked extensively with complex clinical presentations, often including dual diagnoses, in the intensive outpatient setting. In his work with clients, Maddox utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach with a focus on behavioral modalities like CBT, ACT, ERP, and DBT. Maddox also specializes in working with adults and young adults in the LGBTQIA+ community with an emphasis on providing gender-affirming mental healthcare to transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
