Kenzie Lerario is an openly transgender and nonbinary (they/them) board-certified neurologist, peer specialist, LGBTQIA2S+ activist, and MSW student at Fordham Graduate School of Social Service. They are an openly-identifying member of the poly and recovery communities. Dr. Lerario is currently an intern at the National LGBT Cancer Network. They are the founding director of Greenburgh Pride in Westchester, NY. The have served as a volunteer advisor on transgender inclusivity to multiple national organizations including the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Neurology. They have numerous peer-reviewed publications in major medical journals. Their current academic interests are in functional neurological disorders in the transgender community, as well as telehealth.
