With a decade of experience working in social services, I’ve become adept at addressing the unique issues that bring people to therapy. I have experience working with both adults and children/adolescents. My holistic approach bridges the gap between the “old school” and the “new age.” I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and a dual Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and Counseling Psychology from Columbia University. I draw upon cognitive behavioral, multicultural, and feminist theories, as well as interactive approaches such as Gestalt and Mindfulness. I am currently training in Hakomi, a somatic psychotherapy. My work is also informed by my passions for yoga, dance and the law of attraction.
