Katy Haney

Psychotherapist
LGBTQIA+, Religious Trauma
LMSW

Hi! My name is Katy (she/her) and I work with individuals and couples navigating the complexities of being human and in relationship with others: those who are feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, lonely, losing purpose and meaning; and those who struggle with substance use, restricting, binging, purging, or obsessive thinking. I practice in a psychodynamic and psychoanalytically informed way with a belief that it is through the therapy relationship that we can understand ourselves more fully and heal. I believe therapy is relational and invite my patients to talk about the ordinary moments to the deeply personal ones. I am naturally curious, empathic, and non-judgmental. I have experience working with folks with the intersections of religious trauma, queerness, sex, and disordered eating/body image.
