My name is July and I am a graduate student at NYU Steinhardt in their Master’s for Counseling in Mental Health and Wellness program. My goal is to support my clients in connecting and affirming their innermost selves and identifying skills and resources to utilize in times of distress or crisis. I aim to create a safe, comfortable, and authentic environment for those who choose to take this journey with me. As a transfeminine/non-binary, queer, white-Latinx individual from the Southern U.S., it is important for me to claim and hold my identities alongside the intersectionalities that exist within my clients, in pursuit of mutual understanding, growth, and pride. I am passionate about working with folks within my various communities, especially queer and trans/gender-diverse folks.
