I am a psychologist and drama therapist with 10 years of experience providing clinical care. I have specialized training in treating depression, anxiety, complex trauma and PTSD, identity concerns, grief, and relationship problems. A primary focus of my life, training and work is serving the LGBTQ+ community. I also have experience in working with folks with chronic illnesses, including cancer and HIV.
I understand the process of change through a psychodynamic lens – this means I am interested in your early experiences, unconscious wishes and fears, and ways of coping you have learned to manage the challenges of life. I use experiential approaches, including IFS and drama therapy, within this frame, and also have training in integrating skills-based approaches including DBT and CBT.
I am in-network with UMR Top Tier for Mount Sinai employees and their families.
In-Person Covid Protocols/Protections: I have a high quality air filter running at all times when in person, and masks available when virus transmission is high or per request of any patient.
