John is a queer-identified Black Afro-Cuban Afro-American cisgender male dedicated to enhancing mental health care within the BIPOC community. With a deep commitment to culturally sensitive therapy, John integrates his extensive clinical and research expertise to support clients navigating the unique challenges faced by sexual minorities. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he serves a diverse client base across New York and Texas. John is currently advancing his education in the Doctorate of Social Work program at the University of Southern California, expected to graduate in 2024. His practice emphasizes innovative, evidence-based approaches, making him a valuable therapist and a seasoned consultant, particularly in addressing the needs of mental health professionals themselves as well.
