Jason Holloway

Psychologist
Transgender/Harm Reduction/HIV
PsyD

I am a psychologist with eight years of experience practicing individual and group therapy with adults across the lifespan, from college aged people to older adults. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, substance use, self-defeating behaviors, trauma, grief, and feelings of inadequacy. I have worked extensively with LGBT+ people and with individuals with chronic medical conditions, including people living with HIV. As a trans provider, I am committed to working with people of trans experience.

My treatment approach is based on psychodynamic theory and research. This means I pay close attention to your life history, to recurring themes and patterns, and to your experience of the present moment. I also have advanced training in Motivational Interviewing and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
