James Ramseur III

As a therapist I firmly believe that transformative growth and liberation depend on first developing trust and understanding, so much of my focus is informed by my own identities. I am a Black, Latino, biracial, queer, polyamorous, kinky, and neurodivergent cisgender man. My approach is trauma-aware, abolitionist, and supportive of neurodivergence and disability. With training from the Ackerman Institute for the Family, I work with couples and relationships outside the traditional family of origin, including chosen family, non-monogamy, Relationship Anarchy, and consensual power exchange. With individual clients I work with various concerns, including identity exploration, intergenerational trauma, unmasking, BDSM/kink, sex work, and history of intimate partner violence.
