I believe that many troubles stem from internal and external oppression. As a therapist I work with clients to give voice to their experiences, and define them in their own terms. We live in a world where we are limited by our environment and hide parts of ourselves that we have not felt safe enough to allow to emerge. As a queer trans POC I am familiar with the difficulties of carrying those identities. I perceive my role as a guide and witness that co-creates and cultivates a space where we can explore, discover, express, and heal. My practice is psychodynamic and centers on trauma-informed practices and attachment theory. I work with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, out of control sexual behaviors/sex addiction, gender, and sexuality issues.
