Hello, my name is Henna (she/her/hers) and I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. The foundation of my client interaction begins with a deep respect. I invite clients to share their treatment goals and together we develop a personalized plan of care, taking into consideration current and past experiences. I treat a variety of conditions including mood disorders, ADHD, panic and anxiety, grief and bereavement, insomnia, and binge eating disorder, with a particular focus on how the LGBTQ+ experience shapes the expression and experience of these conditions within a heteronormative world. I provide medication education, symptom and side effect management, and encourage my clients to ask questions and remain informed in their care decisions and interventions.
