I am a board-certified, New York-based psychiatrist with a private practice in the Greenwich Village. I treat a wide variety of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, substance use and trauma-related disorders, as well as issues of self-worth, identity, gender, sexuality, relationships, and life transitions. I’m board certified in Psychosomatic Medicine, Psychiatry, and Neurology. I also completed a psychoanalytic fellowship at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute.
As a psychiatrist, I offer different modalities of treatment based on your needs. I provide individual or couples therapy for adults and older adolescents. Therapy modalities include psychodynamic, interpersonal, relational, cognitive and dialectical therapy. Psychopharmacological options, with or without psychotherapy, are also available.
My style as a therapist is collaborative, interactive, empathic, and non-judgmental. I will carefully consider your reasons for seeking therapy and work with you to develop a personalized and holistic treatment plan.
