Finding a therapist that is right for you can be a challenge, especially for queer, transgender, and non-binary folks. My goal as a therapist is to create space for folks to process, connect, and work through anything from everyday stress to major life events and trauma. I support folks in moving from a thinking forward, problem solving approach to reflecting on process, emotional experience and patterns in their lives.
My clinical approach is informed by gender theory, anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices, and my experience as a white queer and trans person. It is grounded in a client centered, trauma informed practice. I provide relational, psychodynamic therapy combined with elements of behavioral interventions, IFS, and somatic work. I have completed level 1 EMDR training.
