The world can be a confusing and overwhelming place, and we all develop our own ways of coping with its realities. Sometimes we reach a point where we realize some of our strategies need to change. I strongly believe that removing the shame and stigma associated with certain coping mechanisms and behaviors is integral to adjusting them. I work with clients to identify, and have compassion for, why they enact certain responses, behaviors, and patterns, and develop new ones that meet their current needs and desires. Utilizing anti-oppressive, harm reduction, and relational frameworks I specialize in working with people around their substance use, relationships, experiences of identity based and intimate partner violence, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
