LMSW

Emma Rothman, LMSW (she/her) is a psychotherapist who specializes in trauma-informed, client-led care for adolescents and adults. She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and is trained in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and integration.

Emma brings personal insight to her work, particularly in supporting adolescents and young adults (AYA) through the often-overlooked transition from pediatric to adult care—a developmental period that frequently involves navigating complex healthcare and social systems. Her approach centers clients’ agency, strengths, and autonomy, prioritizing collaboration, building medical literacy, and grounding care in an anti-oppressive framework.

In-Person Covid Protocols/Protections: Masking, air purifiers, ability to do therapy remotely, and flexibility in scheduling.
