Emma Rothman, LMSW (she/her) is a psychotherapist who specializes in trauma-informed, client-led care for adolescents and adults. She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and is trained in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and integration.
Emma brings personal insight to her work, particularly in supporting people with chronic illnesses, medical trauma, and invisible disabilities. Her approach centers clients’ agency, strengths, and autonomy, prioritizing collaboration, building medical literacy, and grounding care in an anti-oppressive framework. Emma works with her clients to co-create a nonjudgemental space that is authentic and affirming of people’s lived experiences.
