In our imperfect, shared world, our well-being is profoundly shaped by systemic oppression as well as past and ongoing trauma. While we navigate this world, we can get stuck in patterns of thinking and relating that no longer serve us. I see therapy as a safe relationship within which to reclaim agency and practice new ways of being. While I am informed by psychodynamic and feminist theories and formally trained in CBT and DBT, I believe you know what works best for you, and I will tailor my approach according to your strengths and needs.
