Danielle Hernandez

Clinical Psychologist

Whether you have a specific goal in mind or just wish to capitalize on strengths you already have, therapy is an opportunity to be heard and to intentionally explore the story that makes you who you are! If you are trying to heal amidst homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, or poverty, I would be honored to walk with you as you navigate these systems. I use a multi-cultural and anti-oppression framework to acknowledge the opportunities and barriers faced by clients who hold marginalized identities. I use CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, play therapy, solution-focused therapy, and positive psychology with adults and teens working through grief, anxiety, depression, coming out, gender transition, relationship issues, and family conflict. In-network with 1199SEIU, Aetna, Amerigroup, Anthem, Beacon, BCBS, Cigna, Evernorth, EmblemHealth, Fidelis, GHI, HIP, Medicaid, Optum, Oscar Health, Oxford, UMR, UHC.
