As a clinical psychologist, I have an integrative, psychodynamic approach to therapy. I work with LGBTQIA+ adults, adolescents and children (9+) and individuals who identify as polyamorous, kinky or are in the sex worker community. In addition to language, I consider art, dreams, fantasies, engagements with work and play, and spiritual beliefs of deep importance to everyday life and welcome these into the therapeutic space. I have experience and appreciate working with people on intergenerational and complex trauma, addictions, and conflicts in sexuality and relationship concerns. My dissertation work focused on the intersection of creativity, anti-oppression and kink community and I have presented on topics such as ethical non-monogamy and bisexuality, amongst others. I am currently seeing patients both via telehealth as well as in my office in Brooklyn Heights, conveniently located near many subway lines, less than 10 minutes from Lower Manhattan.
