Britt Reid

Psychotherapist
Queer & TGNCNB+ Communities
LMSW

My approach to therapy aspires to be anti-oppressive, anti-racist, trauma-informed, harm reduction, and client-centered. I believe examining relationships of power and privilege is often central to healing and meaning-making. I use narrative therapy, CBT, relational, and psychodynamic approaches, as well as mindfulness and somatic work. I have specialized training working with people struggling with substance use, experiencing anxiety and depression, and exploring their gender identities. I also have extensive experience working with trauma and violence survivors, queer and TGNCNB+ people, HIV positive folx, neuro-diverse clients, immigrants, kink and D/S lifestyle relationships, sex workers, and polyamory/consensual non-monogamy, as well as many intersections of these lived experiences.
