I myself have personally benefited from therapy. As an adolescent I struggled with being different while attending a suburban high school in Ohio. Through the process of self acceptance, my first experience with therapy allowed me to live authentically as a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I have extensive training and experience in working with a variety of gender identities and sexualities. Utilizing an integrated perspective, I help individuals and couples identify how their past experiences inform the way they think; and how those patterns of thinking can be changed and accepted in order to improve their lives. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem as well as sexual and gender identity work. I view therapy as a collaborative experience in which the therapeutic relationship is key.
