I am an NYC-based therapist. I received my BA from Columbia University, an MA in English from UCLA, and my MSW from NYU. Before my clinical career, I worked in education: as a graduate instructor at UCLA and as an academic mentor to youth in foster care at the Dorm Project. During my clinical training, I worked with GMHC and Community Access providing direct support to individuals experiencing homelessness and severe mental illness. I previously worked at Housing Works’ Community Mental Health Clinic, and am now in private practice at Body Positive NYC. Outside of my work and scholarship, I am an author of speculative fiction. I am also an avid theatre-goer and frequent theatre director. I live in Manhattan with my cat, the incomparable Sycorax.
In-Person Covid Protocols/Protections: My office allows for social distancing and hand sanitizer is provided. I am happy to mask (with a well-fitted N95) on request.
