I believe there are many ways to heal, and take a client-centered approach tailored to each individual. My ultimate goal in therapy is to create a safe space for you to feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. I believe this is the most important foundation to any therapeutic work. With that safety we can collaboratively set goals and make a plan for how to reach these goals in the way that works best for you.
I work primarily from a trauma-informed humanistic and psychodynamic lens, but often incorporate elements of CBT and DBT as well depending on your needs and preferences. I am also trained in Mentalization-Based Therapy, which is very effective for personality disorders, and Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD and anxiety.
