Alissa Silverstein

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a hybrid private practice based in Brooklyn, NY. I specialize in working with clients who identify as queer, genderqueer, kinky , and non-monogamous and my work is informed by personal affiliation with these communities. I also work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse who hold these identities.

I'm trained and experienced in psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic-systemic relationship therapy, and am pursuing certification in Somatic Experiencing. In session, I ask open-ended questions and create space to explore anything and everything that comes to mind. I welcome clients of all races and racial identities, countries of origin, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, abilities, and body sizes.
