Creating a space for someone to feel supported and heard is my first priority. The most important aspect of a therapeutic relationship is the dynamic between client and therapist. When you truly feel comfortable and understood by your therapist then that is when therapy can thrive. I believe in using Harm Reduction & Motivational Interviewing as the base of our work while providing a sex positive/non-judgmental environment. The theoretical frameworks I use to better understand the concerns at hand are Object Relations and Self Psychology, both are considered Relational Psychodynamic approaches. I will also use CBT skills as needed. The work we do will focus on assisting you in healing so that you can use the space and time we have to decipher how you would like to move forward.
