Alana López

I provide individual therapy based on anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian values. I am most passionate about working with clients on interpersonal relationships, sexuality, gender, finding meaning or purpose in life, and the harm that comes from systemic oppression/marginalization and environmental destruction. My approach combines aspects of psychodynamics, ACT, IFS, harm reduction, and trauma-informed counseling that’s tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. I have a chronic illness, so I work best with folks that can be flexible with their schedules as I sometimes need to reschedule on short notice. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel safe, heard, and respected without judgement or pressure.
