Adam J Shecter

Hi, I'm Adam (he/him/his). I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and (as a former certified special education teacher) have extensive experience working with young people. I specialize in issues related to young adulthood, queer identities, sexuality, perfectionism, self-image, and learning disabilities. I am well versed in therapeutic practices which involve connecting current challenges with personal history and combining cognitive therapy with meditation and mindfulness training. Also, as a practicing artist, I believe in the power of exploring our creative impulses and expressions to gain insight into our subconscious expressions.
